What is Notion?

Notion is a productivity workspace, where you can build pretty much whatever you want using databases, properties, and elements. I used it to make this template from scratch, and it's the foundation for my daily life!

How is this any different from other templates ๐Ÿคจ?

Most "productivity" templates/systems are too complex to be sustainable, look "aesthetic" but don't help any aspect of your productive life, or have wayyy too much clutter.

Apart from being none of those things above, Minimalist Brain is a vehicle to a really really tempting result: being wildly productive without burning out, and having a good time doing it.

I'm new to Notion, is it hard to set up?

Not at all! Minimalist Brain is built to be simple intuitive, and entirely compatible with Notion's free version. I've provided a tutorial video and walkthrough to show you exactly how to get set up in no time, with 0 previous experience in Notion needed.

Is it really worth $69?

Yes! Notion automatically has a built in dark mode that makes Minimalist Brain look super crisp. I personally switch between both depending on how bored I get of the other.

Extremely. Apart from being able to customize icons, colors, banners, and all the visual aspects, Minimalist Brain is built so you can re-organize the layout and filters of each part of the system. The point is to make the ideal dashboard that's specific to your life, activities, and goals.

A Note From The Creator (My Manifesto)

I, like some of you, had lots of trouble staying consistent with my work, habits, and commitments. One week of godly work ethic and motivation, then another week of unproductive dopamine gremlin activities ๐Ÿ‘น until the shame forced me to repeat the cycle.

I made myself the guinea pig and spent 2 years trying to figure out how to solve that and perfect my own system. The conclusion was: don't fight your animal brain (you won't win), just have a bulletproof system that guarantees success.

Minimalist Brain was born based on that philosophy. Eventually my friends started using it, and now I've helped hundreds of people just like you optimize for what I believe to be the most important aspect of productivity: working as many hours as possible on tasks that will actually move the needle.

Iโ€™ve seen all the Notion guides, gone through the typical phases of tracking useless things that look cool and making systems that I abandon after a week of using.
